Sikhism

Hello my name is Anoop. I practice the religion of Sikhism. I believe in one almighty God who is formless and without qualities but can be known through meditation and heard directly. I live in Amritsar, which is the spiritual capital of Sikhism. There many other Sikhs in this area who share the religion as me. I use the Adi Granth, which is the Sikhs sacred text. Our sacred symbol is the khanda, it is composed of four traditional Sikh weapons, the double edged sword, the cakkar or disk, and two curved daggers. I would like to visit the Golden Temple, which is the most sacred of Sikh shrines. In april we have a festival, celebrating the new year and the beginning of the harvest season.
